MEMBERSHIP

UWEAL has a wide membership base comprised of women entrepreneurs from allover the country. The membership is categorized into; Individuals; Corporate Groups, Women Groups and Chapters (districts) which include Amuru, Adjumani, Bugiri, Bushenyi, Gulu, Hoima, Isingiro, Jinja, Kabale and Kapchorwa. Others are Kitgum, Koboko, Kyaggwe, Lamwo, Masaka, Mbarara, Mpigi and Nwoya, among others. This has given UWEAL a great opportunity to reach more women countrywide and bring business development services closer to the grassroots.

The UWEAL membership is categorized into the following broad sectors: Professional Services, Agribusiness and Food Processing, Textile & Garments, Tourism, Furniture & Interior Design, Handicrafts & Ceramics, Oil and Gas, and Construction.

This category is comprised of established women associations outside Kampala who have groups of 50 women and above women entrepreneurs in their circles
